For the Reader position in Ayurveda, applicants are expected to have an Ayurveda degree, with specialized training in holistic health practices and ancient medicinal techniques. A postgraduate qualification would be ideal, demonstrating familiarity with Ayurvedic principles and practices. Academic research, teaching, or clinical experience would also be beneficial. They should be interested in public education and consciousness about Ayurveda along with progressive activities related thereto as is reflected through the self-resolution of UPPSC about raising public health standards.
